Bristol, this is such a beautiful heartwarming post. What wonderful memories you have of your Dad. Isn't it funny that when someone we loves passes we realize all those little things that left an imprint on our hearts.

I am so sorry to hear that you lost your dad! I lost my mom seven years ago very suddenly also and is was heart wrenching. "Time is a magazine" I once heard and oh boy is it true!!! You will feel better as time goes on but I think what makes it so hard is when you have such dear memories. But then again, how lucky you are to have them. Hang in there...I'm sure he is very proud of you! By the way...love your blog!!!!

Well I know how you feel. My father passed away in 2006, my mother passed in 2003. You just grieve in different ways. The song your playing was one of the songs played at my fathers funeral. It does get easier, but memories do bring back the grief from time to time.
But the memory is made once in our lifetime, and are remembered forever.
Cry when you have to and remember to laugh at the funny things you remember.
