I was so happy yesterday to find a great estate sale right in my community. I took my little partner Griffin with me. No matter where we go he leaves with something free. This timea whole box of chess pieces and other doo dads, he was in heaven. I have trained him well he asked the lady "how much do you want for this" of course free for you, who can resist his big brown eyes and long lashes. I did not walk away with anything free, but I sure did get some good buys. I love engraved silver, I found two pieces of that for $ 5 and an ironstone platter for 0.50. I also got a box of old opera programs and music. I will be adding that to Honey Bend Vintage some time this week, it is really neat~ Here's a picture of my finds. Of course some have already found homes.
What great pieces you bought.
Sounds like Griffin is the perfect little shopping partner

Wow! Rad estate sale!
FYI Sabrina is a rescue Sheltie from formerly abused bad people. She is part teddy bear too I think...
likes: liver snaks, snoozing, mom, cool weather, walks on the beach, and Shirl.
dislikes: fireworks, mean people, water, to much routine breakage, and bathtime.

Those are some great and affordable finds. Unfortunately around here "Estate Sale" has come to mean "really, really high priced stuff."
I love that silver. Great buy.
