I just added a cute little addition to Honey Bend Vintage . A cute little bag filled with pink glass marbles included in the bag are some cute pink extras. This one has a ballerina. We will be adding one with some other baubles soon. These are perfect to add to a gift or just a little pink gifty to a friend. Add a cute tag with the perfect note. I also need some advice from all you sweet girls in blog land. I have been toying with the idea that I would start after the holidays. I have thought about opening Honey Bend Vintage just one week out of the month, kind of like a virtual flea market. It is so difficult to run an online shop and work a full time job, this way I could plan it out. I have been thinking about doing this in a brick and morter in our community every couple of months as well. Send me a little shout out with your thoughts and I will put you in a drawing for a bottle of german glass glitter(fine silver) If you have any other ideas send me a note bcottage@hotmail.com . I love comments be sure to leave one by Sunday. Have a great weekend~

It's funny that I have read your post today about it being difficult running an online store and working. I had an online store as of today. I have shut it down today for the same reason you have stated. I started it when I was a stay at home mom for something else to do besides being a stay at home mom. This summer I started working at our shop 3 days a week and have gone up to 4 days and some time next year I will up to 5 days. I was finding it very difficult to keep my store stocked, be a mom of 3 and home maker and working 4 days a week. Because of this I decided to close it and sell my items on etsy. This way I wont feel pressured to have stock all the time. I am posting my closure tomorrow on my blog. I think doing what you want to do could work. It can't hurt to try and see how it goes. Good Luck!

Hi Bristol,
I think it sounds like a great idea. Especially if it means more balance in your life. I agree with Lisa above ~ it certainly can't hurt to try and see if it works better for you!
Good luck with what you decide to do!!!

I think that's a wonderful idea. It gives you time to enjoy your family, work and do what you enjoy. It's also great for your customers....it really gives them something to look forward to.
